Half day Preschool Frisco TX: For Two Year Olds
For the youngest learners, our Pinnacle curriculum features hands-on activities to encourage children to play and learn at the same time. This time-tested curriculum is based on Piaget’s stages of development theories, Erik Erikson’s psychosocial development theories and the works of psychologist Howard Gardner. The program uses the most appropriate techniques to introduce children to socializing outside of the family unit and to foster a love of learning.
Our staff personalizes the curriculum to meet the needs of each student. Our caring instructors help children explore various subjects – history, art, science, and math, through storytelling and classroom materials. All activities help students learn and develop social skills. Weekly or monthly themes explore animals, art, food or other subjects. Math/manipulative skills, pre-reading, creative arts and dramatic play are used to help establish muscle and motor control, self-esteem, spatial awareness and individual creativity.
Half day Preschool Frisco TX: For Three Year Olds
An integrated curriculum called Let’s Begin with the Letter People, which is arranged around themes in different subjects, introduces students to new concepts. This curriculum engages students in exploratory play and helps them understand what they’re experiencing. Instructors prepare lessons to help develop various parts of the brain (the temporal and frontal lobe and angular and supramarginal gyrus for reading, etc.) and give children the tools they need to excel in kindergarten.
Let’s Begin with the Letter People helps students identify letters and promotes knowledge of phonetics and pronunciation. This prepares children for the next step – recognizing and reading words. Hands-on learning activities continue to promote social interaction, math calculation, logic and spatial coordination. Teachers work one-on-one with each student to develop every child’s unique talents.
Apple Creek’s half day preschool Frisco TX offers AM and PM sessions for students between the ages of two and five.
