AIM Program:
Our AIM class is designed for 3-year-old children to increase their Alphabet and Math knowledge with kinesthetic games and activities.
It includes sensory activities that help with learning upper-case and lower-case letters, letter sounds, number recognition, one to one correspondence, shapes and spatial reasoning.
We offer a 5-day and 3-day AIM Program.
Children must be enrolled in a morning 3’s program to join our Alphabet Immersion Program in the afternoon.
Literacy Concepts:
Upper- and lower-case letter recognition
Letter sounds
Enhancing vocabulary by connecting letter sounds to objects
Letter building with wood shapes (from the award-winning Handwriting Without Tears program)
Letter formation activities
Beginning letter sound sorting
Developing Pre-Writing Skills:
Proper pencil grip.
Writing First Name using proper capitalization.
Developing visual tracking.
Building hand dexterity, strength, and stamina.
Developing hand eye coordination.
Daily pre-writing activities.
Social Skills:
Use language appropriately and self-regulate their emotions.
Participating in collaborative activities that enhance communication.
Teaching kindness, empathy, and cooperation with peers.
Self-Help/ Independence:
Developing persistence in staying on task.
Putting papers and folders in backpack.
Eating lunch independently using utensils, opening and closing their lunch boxes, and cleaning up when finished.

Learning along with the Letter People Puppet themed songs and sounds.
