About Apple Creek:

Apple Creek Preschool is a private preschool that provides early childhood education in a warm and nurturing environment preparing them for the transition to kindergarten.
Our social-emotional curriculum implements Conscious Discipline^© techniques for teaching safety, connection, and problem-solving. Your child learns essential social-emotional skills like recognizing and managing their emotions, the importance of kindness and empathy, and classroom responsibility through classroom jobs.
Apple Creek emphasizes a well-rounded Kindergarten readiness curriculum that lays the foundation for your child to be school-ready intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
Children are grouped according to Texas state standards for kindergarten.
Teachers have college degrees or are actively working on degrees in Education or Early Childhood Education

A Highly-Experienced & Passionate Founder

With over 30 years of experience, Founder Tammie L. Williams has served on many early childhood education boards and is a popular public speaker on early childhood and parenting. She has a Master’s degree in Child Development and an MBA.

Director Karen Barron has been with Apple Creek Preschool since 2007. She has outstanding leadership abilities, is actively involved in the community, and remembers almost every child who comes back to visit and greets them by name.

We host key figures from the community:

The Frisco Fire Department brings their trucks out every year for the children to explore and learn.
A dental hygienist who brings a surprise guest—The tooth fairy!
Rufus the recycling dog.
Seniors from a nearby assisted living center come and read to the children for group story time.
